The Bridge Program provides move-in assistance to those who lack the financial resources to enter a community sober living home. Bridge funding provides for the first two weeks of weekly rental fees, allowing our participants time to obtain employment and begin paying themselves. Through our large referral network, the Bridge Program Recovery Coach is well-equipped to connect these participants with additional resources to address any additional barriers to self-sufficiency. 285 individuals were provided with this move-in funding in 2024.

Pay It Forward SA operates two programs that provide access to supportive sober living, allowing our clients the time and space to recover from a substance use disorder at their own pace.Both of PIFSAs programs are peer-supported with the residents encouraging each others progress and success. Both programs discourage unhealthy behavior with a zero-tolerance policy of illicit drug or alcohol use and expect all participants to either be gainfully employed or performing community service. Through new routine, healthier habits, and the alleviation of financial stress, our participants are much better equipped to engage fully in their recovery and maintain their freedom from substance use.
