Mission
Through our foster and adoption program we provide medical care, nurishment, leashes/martingale collars, slip leads, toys, training and rehabilitation, transportation and love to the puppies and dogs in need. Our dogs are retired research dogs, shelter dogs, or owner surrendered dogs We were inspired by the ahimsa which means non-violence to all living things. We wish safety and peace to all living creatures.

We did not turn away any dog due to breed, age or situation. We rehomed a high percentage of beagles and hounds which are often discarded by hunters. We also helped pit bulls and other bully breeds.we helped owner surrender dogs find new homes. We helped kids learn about dogcare for rescues and other dogs we helped kids and adults give back to their community. We trained them to be of service. Many kids received boy scout and girl scout awards for their service or attained recognition from community and religious organizations through their hours of service.
0Pixie was one such pit. Pixies rescue and recovery has been one of the brightest successes of 2024. This sweet 3-year-old pit mix, found wandering as a stray alongside other dogs in a heartbreaking state of neglect, and coming from a Kentucky Kill- Shelter has endured so much. Her skin was severely damaged, most of her fur was gone, and she struggled with mange and complications after her spay surgery. Yet, through all the pain and hardship, Pixies spirit remained strong and full of love. With a specialized diet, medication, and lots of care, Pixie made an incredible recovery, and after all she had been through, she found the perfect forever home. Now, shes thriving as a lovable couch pibble, finally enjoying the peace and affection she deserves. Pixies journey is a true testament to resilience and the power of love, and it stands as one of our proudest accomplishments of the year.
