Programs
2 programs
In 2024, the organization provided free housing to 4 single-mother families at one time, and we celebrated the first participant to graduate from our program. In addition to housing, Peacock Legacy of Hope paid for the mothers' car repairs/maintenance, educational costs, etc.
Each single mom supported by Peacock Legacy of Hope is carefully matched with a Moms Helping Moms (M&M) volunteer, who serves as a dedicated mentor throughout her participation in the program. These mentors play a vital role in fostering self-esteem and identifying the unique needs of each mother we serve. Peacock Legacy of Hope actively engages in goal-setting, career counseling, and addressing educational aspirations, among other personalized needs of the mothers. We utilize free or low-cost community counseling resources to provide optimal support for the mothers involved in our program.
