Peer support and advocacy network's (psan) mission is to build a community, free of stigma, where individuals with mental illness work together toward recovery of mind, body, and spirit.

Peer support: goal is to establish multiple peer-run drop-in centers within allegheny county to provide an array of opportunities to individuals with mental health disorders.
Peer specialists: responsible for providing consumers with assistance in assessing problems of any nature that may arise in any area of a consumer's life, formulating solutions, and putting action plans in place to solve these problems.
Advocacy program: provides consumers throughout allegheny county withopportunities to receive services necessary for recovery through aunique means of service delivery from a trained team of peerspecialists.outreach and education: responsible for community and public relations,internal and external education, and communication for peer support andadvocacy network.coalition for recovery/peer support warmline service: providessupportive listening, problem solving, resource sharing, and peersupport for individuals in allegheny county.
