Hippotherapy: working in conjunction with children's village, the pegasus project team works to help those with special needs that cannot be met in the traditional therapeutic riding program. Physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech therapists partner to assist children in meeting therapeutic goals.
Life skills: the life skills program works with the special education departments at local high schools to add specialized equine curriculum and unique learning experiences to students educational programming. In this program students learn how to care for an equine facility, caring for tack, anatomy of the horse, grooming and riding skills.
