Mission
To restore and preserve the st. Anthony parochial school, formerly the penasco high school, in penasco, nm because of its historical significance to the penasco valley.

St. Anthony building restoration the pvhps continuously fund raised and planned for the restoration efforts in 2024. We contracted architects with restoration expertise as furniture making artisans and adobe making experts. To help with the restoration funding efforts, we also contracted professional grant writers. There were at a minimum, 50 community members that participated in the various restoration activities.
Cultural preservation cultural preservation is coalesced with many of the community engagement activities. There is one activity that unique and is culturally based. This activity was the adobe making workshop. The making of adobes is a cultural icon for northern new mexico. Unfortunately, the craft of making abode bricks for building is being lost. There were at a minimum, 50 community members that participated in the various cultural preservation activities.
