Pasa's primary objectice is to protect and advance the interest of the australian shepherd breed by encouraging ethical breeding practices and sportsmanlike competition at all dog shows and trials. Pasa shall encourage and promote the breeding of purebred australian shepherds in such a manner as to bring their natural qualities to the highest degree attainable. Pasa shall strive to educate and assist owners of the breed to improve their knowledge of the breed and provide quality care and training. Pasa shall conduct asca sanctioned events in conformity with asca rules and regulations. Most of pasa's activities are in the greater san francisco bay area, although we may conduct events in conjunction with the asca national trials, which may be held in a surrounding state. Charitable contributions to other organizations by pasa may include organizations outside the state of california.
