Mission
Pennies for the homeless' mission is to educate students, professionals, and the general public about the reality of homelessness, while directly funding shelters, meal centers and other homeless service providers in new mexico, in order to improve the quality of life, as well as offer opportunities and hope for homeless people. Pennies for the homeless is an all-volunteer, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization founded by joseph saavedra and judge diane dal santo in 1993.
