Mission
The mission of the PASC is to offer year round opportunities to develop and apply leadership skills.
Programs
3 programs
Summer Leadership Camp. This year we were able to provide students with leadership training at one site. All three levels; middle school, high school and advanced high school students spent several days on a college campus, receiving in depth leadership training.
Senate Youth. The U.S. Senate Youth Leadership Program is sponsored by the William Randolph Hearst Foundation. In Pennsylvania, PASC administers this program on behalf of the Hearst Foundation and PDE. PASC sends information to all schools in PA regarding the application process. PASC also coordinates the scoring of applicants, as well as the interviews of the ten finalists and selection of the recipients from Pennsylvania. Each year two students are chosen for a week in Washington D.C. as well as a $10,000 college scholarship.
