The pennsylvania chamber of business and industry is the largest broad-based business association in pennsylvania. Thousands of members throughout the commonwealth employ greater than 50 percent of pennsylvania's private workforce. Headquartered in harrisburg, the pa chamber serves as the frontline advocate for business on capitol hill by influencing the legislative, regulatory, and judicial branches of state government. The pennsylvania chamber of business and industry is dedicated to helping its members understand and easily follow the complexities of state and federal workplace regulations. Services include conferences and publications on a wide variety of issues important to the business community. Our mission is to act as the "statewide voice of businesstm and articulate and advocate on those public policy issues that will expand private sector job creation and lead to a more prosperous pennsylvania for all its citizens.

In a landmark celebration of leadership and legacy, in october 2024 the pa chamber hosted its 40th annual dinner. With a fitting theme"celebrating leaders and legends," the milestone event brought together a distinguished audience of business, civic, and government leaders to honor four decades of premier networking and programming. The evening's keynote featured an unforgettable fireside chat withserena williams, the greatest tennis player of all time and an international icon, whose presence underscored the event's commitment to spotlighting trailblazing figures who inspire across generations and industries. The evening also featured presentations fromu.s. Secretary jennifer m. Granholmandu.s. Senator (now u.s. Secretary of state) marco rubio, who addressed the pivotal role pennsylvania plays as a battleground state in shaping the nation's futureparticularly in the lead-up to the 2024 presidential election. Their insights added a timely and thought-provoking dimension to the evening's program.
The pa chamber's member-centric marketing team is a statewide leader providing the statewide business community the latest in compliance education, training, and b2b connectivity, offering countless engagement opportunities and invaluable information both in-person and online. In 2024, the pa chamber hosted 28 webinars and conferences that focused on leading hr-related topics, environmental and energy issues, it and innovation, and leadership; hosted the 21st annual business golf outing; and continued to host member-sponsored webinars to allow our members to provide their expertise across several in-demand subject areas to a broad-based business audience. We built upon the popularity of our women in business conference, hosting it to an expanded, in-person audience of business professionals for a day-long experience that included a wellness room, breakout sessions, professional headshots, a photo booth, and more. Our pa chamber annual dinner celebrated its milestone 40th anniversary, featuring a keynote with tennis legend and business mogul serena williams and policy speeches by u.s. Sen. Marco rubio and u.s. Energy secretary jennifer granholm that focused on pennsylvania's role as the center of the political and economic universe.
