Mission
Our vision is to make america the best place in the world to ride a bicycle through safe, fun, and connected places to ride. We work to reduce barriers to participation and welcome more people to the joys of bicycling. We strive to get more people riding bikes more often and to make bike riding better for everyone.
Programs

Education and bike advocacy communications. The organization's marketing and communications initiatives are designed to inspire increased bicycle use, provide educational resources, and promote bicycle education and advocacy programs. Activities include use of diverse media channels to communicate safety information, highlight key national, state and local initiatives.
Local infrastructure programs. The organization works with cities to measure, plan, build, fund, and promote high-quality places to ride. These initiatives foster community partnerships, accelerate progress through metric driven results, and provide best practices for city leaders, land managers, and local advocates. Programs emphasize the role of bicycling to improve public health, connect communities, support local and state economies, and protect the environment.
