Tmc arts:tmc has developed a rapidly growing artistic role in los angeles county. All tmc arts' programs are developed through the lens of engagement and with a focus on creating programs that respond to and are reflective of the diverse populations that comprise los angeles county. This approach applies to the range of tmc arts programs, whether a ticketed presentation of a dance company in tmc's theatres for its "glorya kaufman presents dance at the music center" series, or a free and/or lowcost participatory program in the jerry moss plaza, such as tmc's "dance dtla." many of the events produced by tmc arts in gloria molina grand park are curated in conjunction with the park's numerous community partners. Tmc initiated a new digital initiative focused on immersive technology. Tmc also manages its highly respected arts learning programs, which typically reach 150,000 students and families annually and is the largest arts education program in los angeles.

Capital improvements:under the terms of the operating agreement with the county of los angeles, tmc transfers title of leasehold and other capital improvements to the county of los angeles upon purchase. As such, tmc expenses these purchases as they are incurred. Capital improvement expenses also include debt service related to bonds payable for the 2007 mark taper forum renovation, amortization of food and beverage contract acquisition costs, and various capital improvements across the tmc campus.
