Advocacy: in 2024, period served on 19 state advocacy coalitions to educate local community leaders on how to provide affordable and accessible period products. Period educated and advocated for the repeal of the tax on menstrual products throughout the u.s. And certified youth activists to be grassroots organizers in their own communities. Education: period published educational curriculum focused on period poverty in u.s. Schools to assist and train school nurses to help students in need, as well as coauthored a kids book about periods to help young people and their caregivers destigmatize periods. Continued on schedule o. Period provided media training to youth advocates, helping them be vocal leaders in their community.
