The corporation is organized exclusively for charitable purposes, including for such purposes, (1) the making of distributions to organizations located in New York State that qualify as exempt organizations under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code; (2) providing monetary and technical assistance or arranging for the provision of, food, clothing or shelter to needy residents of the State of New York; (3) awarding scholarships to individuals for musical studies; (4) raising awareness with respect to the dangers of alcohol and drug abuse; and (5) carrying on any other activities necessary to, in connection with, or incidental to the foregoing.
