Mission
Phandeeyar ("creation place") is a community tech hub that is spearheading the development of Myanmar's tech & social innovation ecosystem. Phandeeyar does this in two ways: by helping change agents use technology to increase their impact; and by building the country's pool of digitally-enabled enterprises and tech talent.
Programs
3 programs
Safe Internet Phandeeyar helps change agents, such as civil society groups, independent media and and civic and social entrepreneurs, integrate technology into their work to increase their impact. We ran workshops, seminars, and meetups to help independent voices thrive in Myanmar's digital media environment. Phandeeyar also helped address some of the training to help people understand how to safely and responsibly use social media. Phandeeyar supported community organizations that wanted to use social media and digital content to promote positive messages about peace, tolerance, and inter-communal harmony.
Social Capacity : To support the local organizations from Myanmar to be more digitally capable through secure, performant and sustainable digital infrastructures, skills and knowhow to help them using technology to increase the impact of their community-support works meanwhile increasing their digital and organisational Capabilities
Other miscellaneous costs related to run programs that are not normally scheduled that includes collaboration with partners to run marketing activities.
