Pdk is a professional network for educators who share a common interest in research, service and learning with a focus on improvement of public education.

Conference:each year, educators rising hosts a national conference to convene ournetwork of rising educators and teacher leaders. It's a uniqueopportunity for students and their teacher leaders to:- connect and learn from each other through more than 40 breakoutsessions;- network with other members from across the country;- compete for national titles in competitive events designed to allowstudents to develop and showcase their teaching skills; and- be inspired by keynote presentations from national education leaders.

As a career andtechnical student organization (ctso), educators rising supports our51% diverse students through chapters that facilitate support andnetworking, our academy curriculum and beginning to teachmicro-credentials that prepares students for their future profession,competitions to give students a chance to prove themselves asprofessionals, and conferences that provide a national stage in whichto network and be recognized for their achievements. Itfeatures articles about educational research, practice, and policy, aswell as regular columns on school and district leadership, mediacoverage of education, legal issues in the field, state and federalpolitics, and more. Published eight times per year, from septemberthrough may, the magazine is distributed in print to members of phidelta kappa, while sage publications distributes a digital version ofkappan to roughly 10,000 university libraries around the world. Our ownweb site, kappanonline.org, receives over 100,000 unique visitors permonth.
