Lifesharing: This program sees the Farmhouse licensed as an Adult Family Home Care Provider through Inclusa of WI. Permanant homes on the property offer a holistic, therapeutic environment for our disabled community member(s), and for all in residence at the farm. Our daily rhythm is informed by our most vulnerable members, enab ling us to move at the speed of trust and patience.

Education: Through our Educational Program hundreds of children, adults and students visit the farm annually. Groups participate in co-created curriculums on ecology, history, farming, and culture, enjoy nature trails, and rejuvenate. Participants learn valuable lessons about their connection to land as stewards and culturally relevant food history. These lessons foster a lasting sense of ecological responsibility, and deepen their relationships to the land and themselves. We lease farm land & provide technical assistance for 4-6 immigrant and emerging farmers annually. This educational program contributes to creating access for diverse communities to grow crops and begin the process of retail and wholesale farming. These farmers are also assisted with basic business planning through a 2 day workshop on Holistic Management, learning farming from a values based perspective. Through PCFs infrastructure access (such as walk-in coolers & our pack shed), these farmers are able to trial their farm plans, and build their businesses before branching out to independent farming enterprises. We regularly host both public and private retreats, workshops, camping opportunities, artists-in-residencies, ceremonies and events on the land. Art is integrated into all aspects of our programming, from land- stewardship & communal living practices, to educational immersions. Over the past 10 years PCF has hosted numerous public and private offerings including: theater performances & operas, festivals, musical & literary events, Hip Hop in nature cyphers, murals & musical gatherings, puppet shows & cultural/spiritual ceremonies, as well as short term artist residencies & retreats.
