Pnamdc started a program to help support internationally educated nursesiens who are new to the country . The inaugural worksho was held in virginia on april 13, 2024. The initiative aims to assists and support the new iens navigate and acclimate to the new culture and work environment by pairing them with the pnamdc members who have been in the area. Funds were generated from local businesses donations and from a grant from dci groups. There were 68 iens who were supported in 2024 virtual webinars and in person workshops were facilitated
