Nutrition services including nutritious meals, nutrition education and other appropriate nutrition services for older americans in order to maintain health, independence and quality of life. Meals are either served in a congregate setting or delivered to the home, if the older individual is homebound (title iii, part c).

Support activities to develop, strengthen, and carry out programs for the prevention, detection, assessment, and treatment of, intervention in, investigation of, and response to elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation. Investigate and resolve complaints made by or on behalf of residents of nursing homes or other long-term care facilities (tile vii).
