Programs
2 programs
Return-to-work/After-Care: Persons in the program are taught skills so that they can return to work at the completion of their treatment. They learn work skills, such as sheetrock, flooring, retail skills, retail assembly, and other job training skills. By using a network of employers who are willing to hire people with felony records, people completing the program have opportunities to become employed so that they can work and support their families. An objective is to help people to become independent of support systems. They can learn soft skills, such as resume writing, job interviewing techniques, financial management, and budgeting skills. An aspect of after-care is monitoring their finances so that they are able to pay off outstanding bills, obtain a personal vehicle, obtain housing, and learn to live on their own. They learn how to parent their children and raise them as they should be raised. Educational opportunities are also available to those who desire to go back to school.
Families receive counseling to help them recover and heal. They learn how to be Godly mothers and fathers as they seek restoration with their children. They learn how to successfully parent their children and break the generational cycles. They learn how to set boundaries and become family members who are learning to live and work together. They learn how to live life together outside of a confined environment.
