Mission
The senior center offers activities and services to improve the quality of life and address needs resulting from physical disability, social isolation, inadequate nutrition, and the lack of opportunity to engage in meaningful activity or to learn new skills, which are issues that older people with very little income or who are unhoused face on a regular basis.

The pike market senior center offers a range of services to promote healthy aging. Over 90% of the seniors are low-income and around a third are unhoused. Clients can access one-on-one social work assistance and a range of health-promoting and socializing activities, including free breakfast and lunch every day of the week. All these services and activities are offered free of charge.
