Mission
To encourage the preservaton of the historical integrity of the florissant region and the west slope of pikes peak and to educate the public regarding the rich historical heritage of florissant and the west slope of pikes peak.

Preserve and protect historic sites: to preserve and protect historic sites, 15 volunteers donated 190 hours, valued at $4,560. This project included the historic florissant townsite, florissant pioneer cemetery.
Museumpphs operates pikes peak historical society museum and school house museum to educate the public. Pphs museum had 28 volunteers who donated 678 hours valued at $15,272, pphs museum also served 2370 visitors at the museum and through the educational outreach programs.
