Promote peaceful co-existence through education among diverse cultural and religious groups in israel and palestine.

Programs

2 programs

Peace Partners: Peace Partners are organizations selected by the Pilgrims of Ibillin board who exhibit strong alignment with our core mission of building peace through education in Palestine and Israel. While the precise projects vary, we currently support organizations in the West Bank and Gaza through small grant funding on an annual basis. These organizations emphasize interfaith and cross-cultural educational and community-based opportunities. Through our peace partnerships, a further six organizations and their participants are served. These partner organizations are: The Diyar Consortium of Bethlehem (support of girls soccer program), the Seraj Library Project in the West Bank (providing libraries and cultural centers), St. Georges Melkite Catholic Church (providing scholarships and job training), Wiam Palestinian Conflict Resolution Center in Bethlehem (supporting women and youth empowerment and conflict resolution training), Middle East Childrens Alliance Clean Water Project in Gaza (providing life-saving water food, and emergency essentials), and Hope Secondary School in Beit Jala (supporting children who struggle in traditional educational settings who come from destitute families).
