Care of collections and preservation: in fy25, the museum continued its work on infrastructure improvements, updating the bylaws and committee charters and expanding community engagement initiatives while continuing with preservation and collections care activities which are the main focus areas aligned to the museum's mission. Major accomplishments this fiscal year included curating and hosting two history exhibitions - georgiana pittock and the city of roses and stone and service, the builders and workers of pittock mansion. These exhibitions educated the audience about contributions of the pittock family and others towards the development of portland. Continued on schedule o. The museum offered guided tours such as behind-the-scenes tours and architecture tours. More than 500 school members visited the mansion on field trips. A total of 95 volunteers helped the mansion throughout the year in various roles, contributing a total of 1,360 volunteer hours at a rate of $31.80 which equates to $43,248. The museum showed appreciation to volunteers through special recognition events. During the fiscal year we had more than 500 members and increased the number of library memberships through which library patrons received free access to the museum. The museum continued its work with care of its collection and created a phased action plan to undertake high-priority historic preservation needs of the mansion. The museum expanded efforts to raise funds by mobilizing the community in support of the museum's new vision and goals.
