The school offers an educational program that will provide the required knowledge and skills that are essential in meeting the student's needs for licensure and a successful funeral service practice. The school also encourages cooperation with all individuals and groups concerned with the advancement of the standards of education for funeral service, research in the mortuary arts and sciences and continued study of the psychological and sociological aspects of funeral service in meeting the needs of the people. This school is one of the only mortuary educational institutions in pennsylvania. The school has approximately 300 full time and part time students.
