The grant provided funding to increasing the physical activity for 49 students, as a means of increasing academic focus, and also respecting the whole child development. Currently, the first 30 minutes of the LINK Club program are devoted to snack and independent work/play while the program teachers (who work full-time as teachers in ACPS schools) commute to the center. We would like to provide activities and resources for more movement during those first 30 minutes, as well as options for the remainder 2.5 hours the students are part of the program each evening. PKMoves provided parkour training for the students.
