Education and training: in 2024, pphp's education and training team delivered 460 sex education programs, reaching 3,026 individuals. Additionally, we reached 722 participnats through 53 spanish programs and 136 participants through 46 programs for indinvoudals with developmental delays and learning disabilities. The majority of education program participants were adolescents and multi-session programs focused on topics such as consent, safer sex, birth control, and healthy relationships. An additional 4,133 individuals were reached through 65 community outreach programs. 40 teens graduated from our comprehensive after-school teen information and peer services (tips) program, hosted in suffolk, westchester, and rockland counties.

Public affairs: in 2024, our community organizing and advocacy initiatives focused on increasing access to sexual and reproductive health care and rights. We engaged hundreds of activists during the year who contacted their elected officials. We engaged more than 600 young people in our efforts and hosted more than 150 events. Additionally we engaged in a statewide effort to amend the new york state constitution to ensure protections and block government discrimination based on ethnicity, national origin, age, disability, and sex, including their sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression, in addition to pregnancy and pregnancy outcomes.
