Eliminated 221,580 single-use foam trays (per school year), totaling 4,557 pounds of plastic, from four schools in Bedford Massachusetts. The total sum spent by our organization on this project was $12,000, but $5,652 of that came in the form of a credit from the manufacturer of the stainless steel trays, dating back to 2022. The cash outlay in 2024 was $6,348.

Eliminated 670,667 single-use plastic items (per year), totaling 3,043 pounds of plastic, from 10 restaurants and one community center in four states, as part of our ongoing partnership with non-profit ReThink Disposable, March 2024.
