Platt Park Childrens Center

Junior kindergarten at ppcc serves children desiring an extra year of preschool and/or those who are able to thrive in an accelerated preschool curriculum. For children who may be age-appropriate for kindergarten but need the gift of time to further enhance their kindergarten readiness skills, both developmentally and social/emotionally, platt park children's center offers an all new junior kindergarten program. It is recommended children be 4 1/2 years old by october 1 to participate.ppcc's goal within the jr. Kindergarten program is to address the developmental needs and raise the readiness skills of each child to their fullest potential. We provide a strong learning foundation, where the academic, social, emotional and spiritual needs of kids are met in a nurturing and play based environment.
