Plum Creek Kennel Club

The plum creek kennel club of colorado, inc (pckc) holds an annual two-day event sanctioned by the akc(american kennel club) where approximately 1250 dogs compete in conformation, obedience, and rally. It takes a year to plan and prepare for this all volunteer event. Revenue is generated from show entry fees, vendor fees, parking and grooming fees. Significant expenses include renting the venue, show superintendent, grooming tents, and judges. Day match show: pckc holds a one day sanctioned match,which is a practice dog show. Little revenue is generated. Conformation classes: pckc rents a bulding in castle rock, co one night a week, 40-45 weeks per year. The instructor is a pckc volunteer and memeber. This service is to the local community and does not produce income
