Pluta Cancer Center Foundation Inc

Pluta cancer foundation financially supports integrative oncology programs and services for cancer patients. Integrative oncology is a patient-centered, evidence based field of cancer care that works alongside conventional cancer treatment. Integrative oncology services aim to optimize health, quality of life and clinical outcomes across the cancer continuum.

Pluta cancer foundation established the pluta comprehensive breast care program at urmc wilmot cancer institute. This includes an endowed fund for the pluta professorship in breast care and funding for recruitment, retention, clinical trials, and developmental therapeutics.

Pluta cancer foundation provides supportive programs to patients during their treatment. These include comfort bags on the first day of radiation or chemotherapy, fleece ponchos, thanksgiving meals and holiday gifts. The foundation also supports engagement and morale activities for pluta cancer center staff to continue to foster the caring environment they provide for patients, and offers funding for professional development for these caregivers.
