Pocahontas Swim Club Inc

Train swimmers and divers through practices and weekly competitions. Our swim team placed second overall in the Fort Wayne area in 2023 and we had 45 swimmers who participated. Our dive team which oconsisted of 60 divers also placed second in the Fort Wayne area.

We offer five 2-week sessions of swim lessons. Participants are sorted into three groups according to age and experience by our trained lifeguards. Skills focus on blowing bubbles with face in the water, floating on front and back, ability to roll, kicking and paddling with both arms in place, holding breath underwater, and diving to retrive obejects from the bottom of the pool. This program feeds into the swim and dive teams and we sold out 4 of our 5 sessions in 2023.
