To preserve and protect natural, cultural, and historical resources, watersheds, habitats, ecosystems, and archaeological sites; within the historical lands of the pocasset pokanoket nation; to encourage sound conservation practices; to preserve native lifeways and access to waters; to engage in and educate and train others about conservation, stewardship and maintenance of open lands, wetlands, woodlands, and ecosystems; and to engage in related conservation, educational, scientific and charitable activities.

This program provides outreach,introduction to usda services,grant writing support, financial literacy mentorship, and marketing training to farmers in southern new england who are veterans and/ or who are black, indigenous, or peopleof color. 0 farmers served (this 3-year program funded in october of 2022, and didn't start helping farmers until 2023).
