California SWTCIE Project (CSP) is a five-year Rehab Services Administration (RSA) funded Demonstration Innovation Fund (DIF) grant project operated by the California Department of Rehabilitation (CA DOR). Its primary goal is to support the transition to Competitive Integrated Employment (CIE) of individuals with ID/DD who are contemplating, or in Subminimum Wage employment. PolicyWorks (PW) provides training, tools and resources to support the direct provision of Peer Mentoring to program participants at the two Demonstration Model Site locations. This is achieved through the provision of both existing and development of new program supports available through PWs Peer mentoringWorks (PMW) library of training, tools and direct service resources. PolicyWorks is one of the core partners working with CA DOR leadership, State University and Community Continuing Education and Regional Partners to administer the program and achieve project performance objectives.
Peer Mentoring Works (PMW) is a collection of training, tools and direct delivery support resources supporting the provision of peer mentoring to students, youth and adults with disabilities who are jobseekers receiving transition support through State Vocational Rehab Agencies (SVRA).
