The polk county law enforcement memorial fund, inc. (pclemf) was founded to provide for the expansion, perpetual care and maintenance of the polk county law enforcement memorial, located at bicentennial park, 700 west lime street, lakeland, florida. The purpose of the memorial is to serve as a rememberance for those law enforcement officers who died in the line of duty and have made the ultimate sacrifice to the law enforcement profession and the citizens to whom they honorably served. Additionally, the pclemf is to provide the funding for the polk county law enforcement memorial service held annually at the memorial site.
