c. PEACE trained over 75 residents to become leaders by organizing members of their congregations into networks, or systems of relationships, that work to improve the community. When large numbers of people are needed to address a specific community problem, these trained leaders actively engage their networks to participate in community action events. Leaders are also trained to research the root causes of community problems and work with the community to develop solutions.
b. PEACE organized 900 community members to come together at Resurrection Catholic Church to receive commitments from Commissioners in Winter Haven to address increase the stock of affordable housing.
