Pomerado Hospital Medical Staff

Evaluation of Quality Control and Oversight of Physicians: The Medical Staff oversees a process whereby all Members authorized to practice in the Hospital have the appropriate delineation of clinical privileges that they may exercise in the Hospital, while assuring ongoing review of each Members performance. In addition, the Medical Staff Quality Management Committee meets on a monthly basis and reviews the performance of the various departments within the Hospital.

Education, Including In-house Seminars: The Medical Staff has a Program for Continung Medical Education accredited by the Institute for Medical Quality (IMQ). This program provides category I credit for conferences in accordance with IMQ Standards. In addition, Medical Staff and Allied Health Professional Staff are required to submit documentation of continuing medical education hours in support of their maintaining applicable State Licensure.
