Mission
Promote great lakes sailing; promote water safety and safe boating; foster sailing competition among members and members of other sailing clubs.
Programs

Promote comraderie among sailors by conducting social events for members and their guests.
Organize and conduct sailboat races and regattas for around the buoy and long distance races, some in conjunction with other yacht clubs. Promote and encourage safe boating by requiring sailboat racers to follow safe boating rules and to carry safety equipment.
Promote sailing by using volunteers to allow the club to provide economical launch, mooring, haul out and winter storage activities.
