Provide market research, analysis and information that assists members with their business: 1.We ran a large-scale analysis of retail sales patterns and trends of seafood in the US, producing >1000 charts. 2. We produced a comprehensive audit of ecommerce sites' listing quantity and quality of groundfish species. 3. We produced new e-commerce listing toolkits with all the images and information that should be provided in an online listing. 4. We ran a large census-adjusted consumer study of consumers across California, Oregon, Washington and Idaho, to understand their current seafood consumption better. 5. We also conducted an annual Economic Outlook study among participants in the West groundfish industry. 6. We regularly analyze the performance of our social media content as well as the broader digital footprint of key West Coast groundfish species across online and social media channels. Finally, we published and shared the results of these research works with members and industry stakeholders through reports and multiple webinars.

3. Provide members with educational programs and pre-competitive forums for discussion: We conducted 4 webinars for members of the industry in which we shared insights from our market research. We also coordinated two pre-competitive forums for discussion for members and representatives from all major stakeholders in the West Coast groundfish industry in February 2024, July 2025, one in person and one online. Lastly, we've done a lot of planning work preparing a big new educational program for the wider groundfish industry to start in 2025.
