Public policy:advocates for the interests of medical directors, attending physicians, and others practicing in the post-acute and long-term care continuum. Paltmed's voice helps to educate and influence policy makers in congress and the federal agencies. Paltmed has helped shape important policies including physician payment and the role of the medical director and physicians in the post-acute and long-term care continuum. Paltmed also offers a number of educational materials to help its members succeed in their practices.
