Pnpi's mission is to increase the knowledge, capacity, and diversity of federal postsecondary policymakers, leaders, and thinkers.

Smaller meetings were held with higher education stakeholders as a means to extend our reach and expertise. Pnpi also creates and publishes primers, memos, and factsheets on postsecondary topics and hosts the pnpi explorer, a higher education data tool.
Pnpi hosted two virtual courses, two virtual boot camps, and one in-person boot camps for prospective policymakers and the larger federal higher education community.one virtual course focused on federal student aid and one focused on general higher education issues; one virtual boot camp focused on program integrity and one focused on students' basic needs; and the in-person boot camp focused on federal student aid. Virtual courses and virtual and in-person boot camps provided participants with an opportunity to expand their content knowledge while networking with others.pnpi also hosted six workshops for interns working in the higher education policy space. Workshops focused on postsecondary data, networking, peer coaching, job searching, hot topics, and the legislative process. Intern workshops provided participants with an opportunity to expand their knowledge, learn new skills, and network with others.additionally, pnpi hosted two sessions for senior leaders in our leadership development program. One session focused on executive presence and the other session focused on students' practicums through which they demonstrated skills gained over the course of the program.pnpi hosted two summer interns. Interns attend meetings, do research, and assist with events. Pnpi also hosted one alumni gathering.
