Mission
The purpose of the Club is to promote the continued health, care, safety, and well being of the Pekingese and promote general and specific knowledge of the Pekingese as a companion animal. The object of the Club involves providing an effective safety net for Pekingese as need arises out of situations involving private surrender or seizure or closure of a commercial mill or kennel closed by government authorities for cruelty or non-compliance with federal, state or county laws. In addition, all Pekingese coming into the rescue program are typically evaluated by a veterinarian and corrective measures recommended are provided by the veterinarian or foster home in order to make sure each dog is given the best chance for a successful adaption.
