The potter's house community development empowering center inc. Is a not- for-profit charitable and educational organization organized in the state of florida to aid, educate, mentor and develop disadvantaged individuals and families towards a life of self-sufficiency and ultimately the revitalization of our communities. The organization exists to (but not limited to): expand educational, employment and other economic empowerment opportunities for residents of the local and surrounding communities; preserve the heritage of the community and its residents; aid, service and develop people to reach their fullest potential by providing social services and promoting educational success; promote positive redevelopment of families, youth and the elderly within our community; andreserve the heritage of the community and its residents; provide services and programs that will encourage and enhance the livelihood of individuals and families.

The organization through its kingdom plaza provided spaces for community meetings, job fairs, college fairs, and other community gatherings. The organization provided rental discounts to cure violence program and other businesses to encourage business growth and employment opportunities for members of our community. Additionally, the organization provided free space for several veteran events and tax preparers to provide free tax services to our community.

The organization through its temple builders fitness center provided facilities for the community to engage in varieties of physical fitness activities. The organization specifically promoted and encouraged members to engage in strength training, jogging, swimming, and active lifestyles to head off and/or minimize the negative impact of ailments and illnesses that affect many people in our communities. Discounts were given to encourage active memberships, and free memberships were given to all people who are overweight as defined by their primary physicians. Additionally, the organization provided free nutritional classes to interested families and implemented many workout programs specifically designed for seniors in our communities.

The organization through its king pins bowling provided a safe environment for family fun activities. The organization established and sponsored youth and senior leagues to encourage people to engage in physical fitness activities and participate in variety of sports programs. Additionally, there were free bowling events for youngsters and senior citizens. The organization believes that healthy eating and active life styles promotes strong families and thriving communities.
