Education and Outreach - In 2024 , PRRAC provided advice and assistance to a number of public housing authorities on their housing choice voucher programs. PRRAC staff also presented at a number of state and national conferences including the Housing Justice Network biennial conference, a HUD symposium on source-of-income discrimination, the annual conference of the National Low Income Housing coalition, and the 2024 Facing Race conference.
Publications - In 2024, PRRAC published three issues of its journal, Poverty & Race, along with a report, How States Low Income Housing Tax Credit Allocation Plans Can Help Increase Students Access to Integrated, Well-Resourced Schools, and an article in the HUD publication Cityscape, entitled Section 8 in the Courts: How Civil Rights Litigation Helped to Shape the Housing Choice Voucher Program.
