Mission

Power4stl takes a holistic approach for people who have experienced direct or indirect bullet injuries or are at risk for overdose due to trauma-related drug use. This work includes the bullet related injury clinic (the bric) which provides a patient-centered medical home for individuals and families who have been injured or threatened by a bullet, and the t, a holistic harm reduction outreach program.

Programs

3 programs

The outreach team reduced in size but were able to maintain consistent work in the st. Louis county area.

Expenses: $51K

Community engagement -- we launched the first, in-person bric institute convening, which was a successful event. It was a 3-day convening with over 85 guests in attendance. We held workshops, presented our bric medicine model and partnered with local and national partners.

Expenses: $24K

The t started its process in sunsetting. Due to funding challenges, there were staff layoffs and reductions in respite services held within the t. The outreach team continued; however, the operations at the t did cease in q4 of 2024.
