Praize production performing arts academy our academy offers a unique and holistic approach to artistry that focuses on the student as both an artist and person. Committed to providing high quality arts education that helps cultivate well-rounded, responsible, and compassionate individuals. The programming is centered around building families and communities that positively reflect and impact young people. The academy runs september through june with a summer camp in july. We offer ten classes weekly to youth ages 3-18. Some of those classes are tumbling, ballet, jazz, hip-hop, and much more. We also take our students on field experiences to gain outside exposure as well as host regular parent meetings and have dance report cards to discuss the students' progress throughout the year. Over 25 students were enrolled.
Rize pro-elite professional company rize pro-elite is ppi's award-winning professional dance company; comprised of all women of color. The company uses movement styles from the african diaspora and storytelling to amplify the voices and narrative of the black experience. This sisterhood of artist creates a safe space for artistic growth, enlightenment, and personal evolution for its sister members. Rize galvanizes the next generation of black women leaders by providing resources, professional development and additional opportunities of support to its dancers throughout the year. Ppi also provides nanny services during rehearsals and performances for its dancers who are mothers, so they do not have to choose between motherhood and following their passion in the arts. Nine dancers and four directors are supported.
