Mission
The Precious Blood Spirituality Institute PBSI was organized exclusively for religious charitable and educational purposes. PBSI was organized to facilitate the collaborative efforts of the Members congregations to share their charism in the Roman Catholic Church and the world to be a resource to the leadership teams of the Members congregations as they foster the embodiment of the charism in the lives and ministries of their members to be a resource to other ministries of the Members congregations as they seek to embody the charism of their ministry to collaborative with Catholic Theological Union in the creation and ongoing ministry of the PBSI and to do all things which may be useful necessary convenient expedient or incident in the attainment or furtherance of the purposes of PBSI.

The Robert J Schreiter Institute of Precious Blood Spirituality has a mission to foster the further development of a practical theology of the Precious Blood and the promotion of spirituality which embodies that theology through focused academic scholarship and a program of pastoral education that emphasizes the praxis of reconciliation.
