Humankind provides adults with intellectual disabilities services through residential homes in a family setting. Services are provided regardless of medicaid waiver funding support in five communities across the state: fredericksburg, lexington, south hill, stuarts draft, and lynchburg. At each location, we provide transportation for residents to community-based vocational, educational, day support, and sheltered workshop opportunities to foster independence. Residents are also provided with social, cultural, entertainment, and other activities, so they remain a part of the communities where they live and gain full and enriching life experiences.
