Practitioner Knowledge and Skill Development: Strengthening practitioner capacity to achieve equitable health, safety, and wellbeing. Working with practitioners across multiple sectors, we provide training and technical assistance; develop actionable tools, guidance documents, and case studies; engage in framework development; and widely share learnings and outcomes from community-centered action. Applying this strategy, we work to achieve applied knowledge and skills; the ability to operationalize equity objectives; a sustainable and sustained workforce; the capacity to work upstream and at the population level; the capacity to partner, collaborate, and engage with community collaboratives; sustainable stewardship to advance prevention and health equity; effective multisector engagement and collaboration; and community-centered approaches.

Policy & Systems Transformation: Changing policies and systems to produce equitable health, safety, and wellbeing. Working with policymakers, payers, system influencers, and advocacy partners, we champion local, statewide, and federal policy and systems change rooted in a positive vision and hope for the future; partner to advance the interconnected priorities across public health, health equity, and racial justice; and harness community-centered practice and learnings. Applying this strategy, we work to achieve systems of prevention, health equity, and racial justice; the integration of contextual and experiential evidence; the embedding of equity within systems; expanded definitions of a community health workforce; systems that further equity and resilience; investments in upstream community-level prevention; and political will.

Momentum Building: Strengthening a prevention and health equity ecosystem while shifting fields, norms, and narratives. Working across fields and with philanthropy and societal influencers, we engage in field building; advocacy and policy change; narrative change; bridge building across sectors and issues; partnership development; ecosystem development; and network development. Applying this strategy, we work to achieve norms that are rooted in connection, dignity, and interdependence; field shifts (e.g., language, funding, partners); asset-driven narratives and narrative power; equitable policies rooted in community-driven approaches; maintained advocacy gains with minimal losses; diverse, strong partnerships; and an ecosystem advancing prevention, health equity, and racial justice.
