Mission
In FY24, the Native Plant Symposium, the annual Bluebell Festival and People Who Care, Make a Difference Awards brought people together to connect to nature and celebrate conservation leadership throughout the County.

Stewardship: the organization maintains a wildlife garden and conducts wildlife surveys. Additionally, in fy23, pwca entered into an agreement with the federal government through the department of the navy, naval facilities engineering systems command washington for the permanent conservation of merrimac farm. In fy24, pwca performed over $58,000 in stewardship and stream restoration activities on the property.
Advocacy: at the merrimac farm wma wildlife garden, volunteers plant and maintain a wildlife garden demonstration area which serves approximately 2,000 visitors per year. Other advocacy efforts include the promotion of conservation friendly public policies and smart growth initiatives.
